The modern stage of the program "Ukrainian Book"

Abstract
Today, despite the high pace of dissemination of information technology, the publishing activity is not left out of the attention, which the state support is carried out in all leading countries. Supporting the activities of the subjects in the information sphere of the national economy, in particular publishing, requires well-thought-out organizational and financial support from the state in the context of more efficient use of limited financial resources. Since 2005, Ukraine has approved and now is implementing the program «Ukrainian Book», which together with the provision of tax benefits to publishers and book distributors are the form of state support for publishing activities. It has been the order of implementation of the budget program "Ukrainian Book" and the criteria for selecting book products considered. It has been the results of the program "Ukrainian Book" for 2013-2016 defined on the basis of the conducted analytical study. It has been the set of problems that accompany the implementation of the program considered, in particular, in the part of changing the manager of state funds and inefficient use of budget funds. It has been attention concentrated on the need to create a list of criteria for the selection of publications for the program "Ukrainian Book".
