THE MODIFIED MOHR – COULOMB AND DRUCKER – PRAGER MODELS. INFLUENCE OF ECCENTRICITY ON HYSTERESIS LOOP AND ENERGY LOSS
Journal Title: International Journal for Computational Civil and Structural Engineering - Year 2017, Vol 13, Issue 2
Abstract
The eccentricity parameters appearing in the modified Mohr-Coulomb and Drucker-Prager models are studied. The influence of the eccentricity on shape and size of the hysteretic loop and plastic dissipation energy are analyzed. Both kinematic and force loadings are considered.

APPLICATION OF RIGID LINKS IN STRUCTURAL DESIGN MODELS
A special finite element modelling rigid links is proposed for the linear static and buckling analysis. Unlike the classical approach based on the theorems of rigid body kinematics, the proposed approach preserves the si...
SET OF EQUATIONS OF AFEM AND PROPERTIES OF ADDITIONAL FINITE ELEMENTS
The paper considers the action of additional finite elements on the main set of linear equations when developed Additional Finite Element Method (AFEM) is used for analysis of structures with several nonlinear properties...
THE IMPACT OF COUPLING THERMOELASTICITY EQUATIONS ON SETTLEMENT OF STRUCTURES ON FROZEN SOIL
This paper seeks to propose a numeric model for the determination of structure’s settlement on frozen soil. The settlement is driven by the dead weight of the soil, weight of the erected building and thawing of the soil...
LOCALMINIMUM PRINCIPLE FOR OPTIMIZATION PROBLEMS WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONTROL SYSTEMS SUBJECT TO MIXED STATE-CONTROL CONSTRAINTS
This paper discusses the first-order optimality conditions for optimal control problems with two different types of control systems, considered on a fixed time interval: systems of ordinary differential equations and sys...
FORCED VIBRATIONS OF ANISOTROPIC ELASTIC SOLIDS SUBJECTED TO AN ACTION OF COMPLICATED LOADS
The work studies the forced vibrations of anisotropic elastic circular plates caused by dynamic loads uniformly distributed along concentric circumferences and over ring surfaces. The method of compensating loads (MCL) i...
