THE MONITORING OF GREEN HOUSE EFFECT GASES EMISSIONS GEG A COMPONENT OF INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Abstract

The view of the father of "quality management", the Romanian born American professor J.Juran, who estimated that the twenty first century will be the century of quality, is confirmed by the contemporary development of integrated systems of management (SIM). A major component of these systems is the quality of the environment. Being a signatory of the Kyoto Protocol, ratified by the 3/2001 Law, starting with 01.01.2007 Romania began regulating the allocation and the merchandising of greenhouse effect gases emissions certificates. (GEG) The study is an analysis of the monitoring procedures and reporting of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) in Romania with the critical note that international regulations have identified other greenhouse effect gases.
