THE MOTIVATIONAL FACTORS OF DEVELOPMENT OF LABOUR POTENTIAL AT MACHINE BUILDING ENTERPRISES 

Abstract

The subject of research is the process of motivation of development of labour potential at machine building enterprises of Kirovohrad region. The objective of the article is to define driving and motivational factors of development of labour potential at machine building enterprises in Kirovohrad region especially connected with demands, aims and interests of the employees. The work has been done using methods of analysis and synthesis, abstraction and modelling. According to the objective the article discloses actual problems of development of labour potential at machine building enterprises and grounds the necessity of strengthening motivational factors of influence on the development of labour potential in this sphere while increasing labour productivity and quality of products. We underline the importance of labour potential development in the sphere as a determinative element of its functioning as a whole. The essence of motivational process and its main stages were described and formulated. The characteristics of optimal groups of motivators which influence the development of labour potential of the sphere were given. The importance of definition of the optimum of motivation which depends on the level of complexity of tasks was underlined. The analysis of the situation of using labour potential at machine building enterprises in Kirovohrad region was carried out as it has considerable scientific, technical and industrial potential in the sphere agricultural machine building. The results of sociological survey among employees of machine building enterprises concerning labour values were characterized. As a result main differences in perception of basic motivators by different age groups of employees (young people, employees of middle and before retirement age, pensioners) were defined. The acquired developments might be used in machine building sphere of Ukraine and can be applied as visual aids in higher education in the course “Personnel Motivation”. The research gave opportunity to characterize major ways for improvement the system of management, formation, usage and development of labour potential at machine building enterprises in modern economic conditions with the help of social, economic, legislative and administrative levers.
