The Need for a New Data Processing Interface for Digital Forensic Examination
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Research in Artificial Intelligence(IJARAI) - Year 2012, Vol 1, Issue 4
Abstract
Digital forensic science provides tools, techniques and scientifically proven methods that can be used to acquire and analyze digital evidence. There is a need for law enforcement agencies, government and private organisations to invest in the advancement and development of digital forensic technologies. Such an investment could potentially allow new forensic techniques to be developed more frequently. This research identifies techniques that can facilitates the process of digital forensic investigation, therefore allowing digital investigators to utilize less time and fewer resources. In this paper, we identify the Visual Basic Integrated Development Environment as an environment that provides set of rich features which are likely to be required for developing tools that can assist digital investigators during digital forensic investigation. Establishing a user friendly interface and identifying structures and consistent processes for digital forensic investigation has been a major component of this research.

Methods for wild pig identifications and discrimination of female wild pigs based on feature matching methods with acquired Near Infrared: NIR moving pictures are proposed. Trials and errors are repeated for identi...
Sensor Location Problems As Test Problems Of Nonsmooth Optimization And Test Results Of A Few Nonsmooth Optimization Solvers
In this paper we address and advocate the sensor location problems and advocate them as test problems of nonsmooth optimization. These problems have easy-to-understand practical meaning and importance, easy to be e...
Comparison Between Linear and Nonlinear Models of Mixed Pixels in Remote Sensing Satellite Images Based on Cierniewski Surface BRDF Model by Means of Monte Carlo Ray Tracing Simulation
Comparative study on linear and nonlinear mixed pixel models of which pixels in remote sensing satellite images is composed with plural ground cover materials mixed together, is conducted for remote sensing satelli...
Provenance and Temporally Annotated Logic Programming
In this paper, we consider provenance and temporally annotated logic rules (pt-logic rules, for short), which are definite logic programming rules associated with the name of the source that they originate and the tempor...
Prediction Method of El Nino Southern Oscillation: ENSO by Means of Wavelet Based Data Compression with Appropriate Support Length of Base Function
Method for El Nino/Southern Oscillation: ENSO by means of wavelet based data compression with appropriate support length of base function is proposed. Through the experiments with observed southern oscillation index, the...
