THE NEW MODEL OF LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TETOVO, A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS BETWEEN TETOVO AND MARIBOR SLOVENIA

Abstract
Local economic development is a pillar of the economic development of a country. Implementing an appropriate model of local economic development is indispensable for modern societies. Planning of LED; identifying developmental and structural priority objectives; running an appropriate local economic policy; support the development of SME’s and entrepreneurial ideas, development of the local network of institutions and agencies and the promotion of public private partnership are key activities for overall economic development. The comparative analysis between the municipalities of Tetovo and Maribor Slovenia will contribute to finding new development points and routes that I will try to incorporate into a modern LED model compatible for the municipality of Tetovo.
