Abstract
The article deals with the issues of the essence and content of specialized ombudsmen in the system of protection of human rights, the types and role of these institutions in foreign countries are determined, the prospects of their implementation in Ukraine are analyzed. As a result of a comprehensive study, the necessity of prioritizing the implementation of the child human rights ombudsman, the military and financial ombudsmen into the national human rights mechanism was substantiated.
