The Obesity Frequency in 11-14 Years School Age Children

Abstract
Nowadays obesity is considered to be one of the important diseases in the world and the frequency of it is increasing in recent years. In this respect, it is a public health problem on a global scale and affects the country's economy in the negative direction. Obesity affects not only adults but also children and young people. The most important causes of obesity are unhealthy nutrition and lack of movement, which causes obesity prevalence to increase in childhood and adolescence. Obesity in childhood may be cause many diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypertension and some types of cancer, which are seen in later ages. In this regard, it is very important to detect obesity in childhood and take precautions. In this study, obesity frequency and causes of obesity were investigate to used the different methods.
