The operational calculus model for the nth-order backward difference
Journal Title: Scientific Journal of Polish Naval Academy - Year 2015, Vol 202, Issue 3
Abstract
In this paper, there has been constructed such a model of the non-classical Bittner operational calculus, in which the derivative is understood as the backward difference ∇[sub]n[/sub]{x(k)} := {x(k) – x(k – n)}. Next, the presented model has been generalized by considering the operation ∇[sub]n,b[/sub]{x(k)} := {x(k) – b x(k – n)}, where b ∈ C {0}.

Deduplication of tracked objects position data at single observation point of a Vessel Monitoring System
Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) play a major role in safety navigation. In most cases they are based on two data sources, namely Automatic Identification System (AIS) and Automatic Radar Plotting Aids (ARPA). Integration...
An approach to the corrosion analysis of bulk carrier hull structure
Numerous bulk carrier hull structural damage analyses are based on the study of fatigue of materials and corrosion processes. Different theoretical and empirical models have been developed to describe the time-dependent...
