The Peculiarities of Observation of Preterm Babies with Very Low Birth Weight

Abstract

The article presents the results of follow-up of 59 preterm babies with very low birth weight during the first year of life. It was found that the most frequent causes of disability are cerebral palsy, retinopathy of prematurity, sensorineural deafness, congenital malformations. The main tasks and the algorithm of observation of these children in policlinic are described.
