Abstract

There is tumultuous political relation between The Police and the Military in many countries. In the midst of democracy building, they competed to gain their existence and interest. In post-New Order era of, the relation among them changed fast. The separation of Police institution from military institutiton was considered as foundation of professional police. In this context, Indonesia National Police had good access in economy but had to face pressures from the ruling government. On the other side, Armed Forced had some access to economy but faced potential clash between Police and Armed Forced personnel.
