THE POSSIBILITIES OF MEASURING OF OUTPUT IN NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
Journal Title: Zbornik radova Ekonomskog fakulteta Brcko - Year 2015, Vol 1, Issue 9
Abstract
The paper discusses the basic categories and possible classifications of the measurement of output, indicates the problems of selection criteria and signifies general principles for their implementation as a guide to the managers of non-profit organizations. Due to the impossibility of application of the traditional financial output measurements, non-profit organizations use surrogate benchmarks which replace standard criteria for the measurement of output. The research incorporates the use of surrogate output benchmarks of non-profit organizations in the field of justice, police, professional fire brigades, education and sport.
