THE PRINCIPLE OF SUBSIDIARITY IN INTERNATIONAL LAW

Abstract
Тhe current state of European integration of Ukraine, in particular, the adaptation process of the national legal system to European legal standards is investigated; the basic principles of law, their place and role in harmonizing of legislation are defined. The particular attention is paid to the principle of subsidiarity, which in today’s political, social and economic realities is crucial for Ukraine. Therefore, in the work the meaning of content of the principle of subsidiarity, the way of its implementation and application in the mechanism of constitutional and legal cooperation is analyzed.
