The problems of professional defense in criminal proceedings

Abstract
Current criminal-procedure legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic does not ensure the right to a defense. Analyzed the system of defense from the criminal persecution, its elements, status of the criminal defense counsel, researched the collisions and gaps in the legislation. Made proposals on amendments and additions to the provisions of law affecting the status of the defense counsel.
