THE PROCESSES OF DE-DEMOCRATIZATION AS A SOCIAL ANSWER FOR INEQUALITIES IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF POWER

Journal Title: Rocznik Politologiczny - Year 2017, Vol 13, Issue 4

Abstract

The phenomenon of so called de-democratization is quite well described but mainly its theoretical character. The aim of the article is to compare two countries i.e. Poland and Spain, which are similar, especially because of the processes of political transformation. The main question is how much inequalities in the distribution of power initiate social discontentment, and ultimately lead to a change in the status quo of political systems. The research method are: the systematic comparative macro-analysis and the analysis of the content of politicians speeches. Główne pytanie rozważań brzmi: w jakim stopniu nierówności w dystrybucji władzy inicjują społeczne niezadowolenie, a w końcu wiodą do zmian status quo systemu politycznego.
