THE PSYCHOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIES OF DEVELOPMENT OF TEMPORAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PERSONALITY ATSTUDENT’S AGE

Abstract

In order to form a constructive form of temporality, that in the context of the study is determined by the peculiarities of orientation to time and its perception as something smooth, continuous, diverse, organized and integrated, a development and intervention program has been established and its effectiveness has been verified too. The indicated components of a constructive form of temporality are the characteristics of time continuity. Time is perceived by a person in a continual manner in case of awareness of actual inter-events connections remoted in past and future and is a developmental quotient of an adult. As a result of verification of effectiveness of the established development and intervention program in the Experimental Group 1 and Experimental Group 2 statistically significant changes toward improving individual indicators of temporality and personal characteristics were observed. In particular, it applies to such indicators of the perception of time as smoothness, continuity, diversity, orderliness and integrity. The results of study allow suggesting that no significant changes in the perception of the basic properties of psychological time as well as in indicators of the general level of vitality were observed in the Control Group. The application of the established development and intervention program promotes development of constructive form of temporality of personality at the student’s age, as evidenced by the results of verification of its effectiveness.
