THE QUESTION OF NORM IN PSYCHOSOMATICS

Abstract
The issue of norm in psychosomatics is relevant. If we recognize the dualistic unity of the body and soul, then there is no doubt that the violation of one state, of the psyche or of the physical, leads to loss of integrity and harmony. However, if we consider them in unity and interdependence, then the visible reactions of one component as a result of a violation of another, should be considered as normal. However, people not always can assess their condition adequately. External assistance by a psychologist or psychotherapist is required in such cases.
