THE REFORM OF THE LOCAL EXECUTIVE POWER DURING DECENTRALISATION OF POWER IN UKRAINE

Abstract
This article conducts a research on the issue of decentralisation of power in Ukraine and on the improvement of the local mechanism of public authority. This article raises an issue of the necessity of the reform of local executive power and reveals the legal nature of the uncommon institution for Ukraine – the prefect. The conclusion is made regarding the main directions of modernization of the local executive power during decentralization of power in Ukraine.
