Abstract

This article summarizes the theoretical approaches to defining the essence of the concept of socio-cultural activities, disclosed terms of its effectiveness, describe the regional dimension of the preparation of future teachers Problem study is to determine the key theoretical and methodological foundations of social and cultural activities of the teacher in the context of modern pedagogical concepts, educational paradigms and social transformation The author, on the basis of the conducted research, psycho-pedagogical literature analysis and experience of mountain schools, reveals the specific socio-cultural activities of teachers from Carpathian region Researcher focuses on the specifics of the Carpathian region, its identity and cultural and historical traditions, points to the need for their preservation and enhancement by establishing the appropriate level of socio-cultural and educational activities of teachers Based on the study of literature, as the study of advanced teaching experience, the author reveals the psychological and pedagogical principles of training of teachers for the implementation of socio-cultural activities
