THE RESEARCH OF THE GIST OF THE TERM “INVESTMENT MARKETS”

Abstract
Purpose – the research and study of the gist of the term “investment market”, the consideration of infrastructure and investment market segmentation, "regional investment market." Methodology of research. To achieve this purpose the article used: monographic analytical method – the study of literature; systematization - of scientific research in the field of investment and the nature of the investment market by domestic and foreign scientists; generalization – to make the conclusions. Findings. The conducted study allowed defining the basic provisions to the definition of "investment market", in its turn, it made it possible to offer the most expanded interpretation of this term. The considered structure and segmentation of the investment market shows that scientists are conducting active research in this direction. Originality consists in revealing the gist of the term "investment market" and the theoretical justification of the key provisions of its definition making it possible to form and improve the basic elements of the investment markets. In the study and systematization of the main criteria for its structuring special attention is paid to the lack of study of the term "regional investment market", the absence of its characteristics, and the tool of formation of the regional investment markets within the decentralization process which requires studying and further development of this issue. Practical value. The results of theoretical and methodological researches of the gist of the investment markets, their principal provisions, the infrastructure, basic elements and expanded segmentation of the investment markets into types according to the particular features during the decentralization of the country will create the opportunity to develop the tools for their formation and operation in practice at the regional level.
