Abstract
The article deals with the fundamental principles and rights in the area of labour safety of the International Labour Organization, in particular the protection of rights and freedom of workers at work, the right for safe and healthy working conditions. The necessity of a systematic approach to managing labour safety at the national level has been substantiated.
