THE ROLE AND IMPORTANCE OF DIGITAL PLATFORMS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL BUSINESSES IN CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES

Abstract
In Central Asia, small businesses are considered the main pillar of economic development, particularly in Uzbekistan, where they contribute significantly to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and provide employment to a large portion of the population. However, these businesses face a range of challenges, including limited access to financial resources, technology, and market opportunities. Digital platforms are emerging as innovative solutions to address these issues. This article discusses the importance of digital platforms in the development of small businesses in Central Asia, their role compared to similar experiences in the region, and the potential for innovative changes in this regard.
