THE ROLE OF AGRO-FOOD CLUSTERS IN INCREASING THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS OF THE BLACK SEA COAST

Abstract

The problems and prospects for the formation of agri-food clusters and their role in the modernization of the agri-food sphere, increase of the efficiency of agri-food business and sustainable development of the Black Sea region have been considered. The cluster approach is extremely promising from the point of view of introducing it into the agri-food sector of the economy. The strategic goal of improving the competitiveness of domestic agricultural producers should be based not only on the growth of the efficiency of agro-industrial production, but also on the development of rural territories.
