THE ROLE OF ECONOMIC THEORY IN FORMING THE COMPETENT MODEL OF THE MANAGERIAL TRAINING

Abstract
The article deals with the problems of forming a competent approach in the train¬ing of managers on the example of teaching microeconomics. The urgency of this problem is due to the fact that the current stage of society development defines new tasks for the system of management education. The goal is not simply to transfer the amount of accumu-lated knowledge, but to learn the skills of adapting to changing economic and social condi¬tions of life. The workers who combine high professional competence with creative, mana¬gerial and entrepreneurial abilities are in a high demand today. The demand for modern managers in the labor market does not depend on what the graduate knows, but in the form of his practical readiness for activities in typical and non-standard situations of professional life. That is, we are talking about special educational outcomes, within which knowledge is necessary, but not a sufficient condition for the achievement of professional quality. This is a professional competence that is the basis of a competent approach. Therefore, manage¬ment - education should be characterized by a combination of knowledge in the field of economic theory with the applied aspects of market behavior of economic agents.
