Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Empathy is a crucial element of successful group learning and collaboration. It allows individuals to understand and share the emotions of others, creating a more inclusive and productive learning environment. This research article examines the impact of empathy on group learning, reviewing relevant literature and presenting research findings on how empathetic behavior enhances collaboration among students. A mixed-method approach, including surveys and observations, was used to assess students' levels of empathy and their effects on teamwork. The results suggest that higher levels of empathy contribute to improved communication, conflict resolution, and engagement in group learning. These findings underscore the importance of fostering empathy in educational settings to promote more effective collaborative learning experiences
