THE ROLE OF GOVERNMENT'S ECONOMIC POLICY IN COUNTRY'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The author of the article discusses economic development trends and challenges Georgia as a transitional country in the market economy. The reasons for GDP growth are discussed together with the factors that hinder the real growth of the economy and economic development. The article discusses the state strategy of socio-economic development, the impact of the private sector on the economy and the role of the state in the economic development of the country. The foreign trade balance of Georgia and the export potential of the country are shown. The paper concludes with the picture of the economic situation in Georgia and setting the ways of economic development.
