THE ROLE OF HOME ECONOMICS IN SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract
In the paper the role of home economics in the social and economic development of rural environ- ment are analyzed. The diversification of the activities of the households is considered. New areas of activity of the home economics, including green tourism and agrarian tourism, have been developed. The development of these types of tourism will help increase the employment of the rural population and improve the social and economic conditions of rural development.
