THE ROLE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTH REFORM PLAN IN RETENTION OF SPECIALISTS IN PUBLIC HOSPITALS AFFILIATED TO SHIRAZ MEDICAL SCIENCE UNIVERSITY

Abstract
Background and objective: Leaving job is one of organizational problems and it hurts promotion of the organization and it is considered as a problem for the manager who is trying to maintain and improve his human source and it requires special attention. Use of correct managerial methods as well as promotion of empowerment level of staffs will increase their motivation for stable and long term relationships with the organization. The current study aims to investigate factors affecting retention of doctors in cities affiliated to shiraz medical science university and poor regions. Method: The statistical population is all full-time doctors (200) who maintain in cities of Fars province and they were chosen by convenient random sampling. Data were analyzed by SPSS. Conclusion: The grounds for retention of staffs should be strengthened and factors affecting their organizational leaves should be identified in organizational planning. In addition, results can be benefited in different types of planning to increase retention of doctors.
