Journal Title: RECENT - Year 2013, Vol 14, Issue 40
Abstract
The role of the business sector in local economic development derives from the fact that businesses, by exploiting local resources and creating new jobs, contribute to the diversification and economic development as well as to the social development of the community. Therefore this article is based on quantitative research carried out by questionnaire-based survey among businesses in Covasna County. The study is aimed to identify the main infrastructure problems in Covasna County, as well as prioritizing action directions for its development in terms of the local business sector. The results of research will be the pillars of the evaluation process regarding infrastructure in Covasna County, providing a tool for those charged with developing and implementing local development plans.

Influence of Adhesive Bonded Surface Texture on Adhesive Bonding Process
Laboratory experiments deal with an influence of a grit-blasting by means of corundum grits AL2O3 of different sizes on a surface roughness of steel substrates prepared according to the standard CSN EN 1465. The experime...
General Mathematical Model for Type-Dimensional Synthesis of Function-Generating Mechanisms with Four-Bar Topological Structure, Rotation of the Input and Translation of the Output
The present work is devoted to the developing of a general mathematical model for type-dimensional synthesis of function-generating mechanisms with four-bar topological structure, rotation of the input and translation of...
Method for Quality Cost Production System Implementation
Today's competitive environment requires industrial companies to find solutions to survive and be profitable. Approaches such as Lean Six Sigma and World Class Manufacturing provide a set of techniques and tools which ar...
Implementation of PWM Soft Single Switched DC-DC Converters with Coupled Inductors
This paper proposes a novel family of pulse width modulation of soft-single-switched dc-dc converters without high voltage and current stresses. These converters do not require any extra switch to achieve soft switching,...
Model-Based Fault Diagnosis in a Waste-Processing Industrial System via Causal Graphs
The paper describes a Casual Graph (CAG) approach to fault diagnosis of industrial systems, based on logical and qualitative methodology for modelling the diagnostic aspects of a system structure and behaviour. The main...
