THE ROLE OF INNOVATION IN THE RURAL TERRITORIES DEVELOPMENT: GLOBAL AND NATIONAL TENDENCIES

Abstract
Based on both the division of the world countries according to the level of their economic development (countries with the developed economy; countries-followers; countries that develop their own economic systems, and countries-outsiders) and estimation of the scientific research and works of foreign and domestic scientists, the article has examined the role of innovations in rural territories development throughout the world. In addition, the research has also identified key tendencies of innovation activity influence on the rural development at the level of separate group formations within the country. In addition, the article has analyzed tendencies and problems connected with the innovation influence on the rural development in Ukraine.
