THE ROLE OF MICROORGANISMS IN THE ECOLOGICAL CONDITION OF SOIL

Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2024, Vol 3, Issue 9

Abstract

The article examines the influence of heavy metals, such as Cr, Ni, Cd, Pb, and Cu on humus content and mobile forms of nutrients (NPK) in various types of irrigated soils, with contamination levels 3, 5, and 10 times higher than the maximum permissible concentration (MPC). The study found that heavy metals affect soils differently depending on their type, with the greatest stress observed in the humus content of meadow-serozem soils, particularly in cases contaminated with cobalt and nickel.
