THE ROLE OF PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP IN DEVELOPING OF CIVIL SOCIETY

Abstract
Stated, that the nation and the private sector have to work closely together on the basis of public-private partnership. Such type of the partnership is an effective tool of attraction private business structures to the provision of socially important services and solving social-economic tasks of further development of territorial community, region, and country in general. Known application practice of the public and private sectors co-operation is one of the effective way of maintenance and making of public benefit the provision of which is the responsibility of the state. The main reasons that hinder the possibility of using principles of public-private co-operation in Ukraine are determined: lack of clear state policy; political instability; insufficient development of civil society institutions; the existence of certain problems in the interaction of the state with the institutes of civil society; lack of motivation for such joint activities from private capital; insufficient informatization of society; legal insecurity and the existence of risks for private business. It is determined that as a result of the implementation of the principles of public-private partnership can get a synergistic effect which will contribute to improving the efficiency of the state and business through their association.
