THE ROLE OF SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS AT THE MODERN STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE ECONOMY OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article considers the features of small and medium business and highlights its role at the present stage of economic development. The basic socio-economic functions of small and medium enterprises are defined. The current state of business in Ukraine, in particular, its dynamics of volume of sold products, is analyzed. The main obstacles on the way of effective activity of enterprises are described. The means of support for the development of small and medium business are outlined.
