The Romanian legislative frame of prevention and fighting against genetic manipulation

Journal Title: EIRP Proceedings - Year 2009, Vol 4, Issue 1

Abstract

It is well known that the human genome represents the common inheritance of the human species which must be protected in order to maintain the integrity of the species. It has a progressive nature and is subjected to different mutations, with serious social and moral effects, reason for which genetic manipulation brings forward the necessity for criminal norms interventions to protect the population against such procedures which can lead, in some extent, to mass destruction and becoming a crime against humanity.
