THE SHADOWS OF MUSIC IN ABDULBAKI NASIR DEDE’S DIWAN

Abstract
Abdulbaki Nasir Dede who sheikh of the Yenikapi Mevlevi-Lodge in 19 th century. He is a ney player and composer. In this search his Diwan studied within the framework of musical elements. In the introduction chapter were given information about the author and his works. In the second chapter were determined musical instruments, styles and music terms which passing in the Diwan. Consequently in the article was tried to discover how combined two cultural disciplines such as music and literature.
