THE SPIRIT OF FREEDOM. INFLUENCE OF THE REVOLUTIONARY EVENTS OF 1905-1907 ON THE FORMATION OF THE INTERNAL ATMOSPHERE OF FEAR IN A SOCIETY IN THE SOUTH OF UKRAINE

Abstract
In the article the author tries to analyze the inner atmosphere in society during the events of the First Russian Revolution in the south of Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the destabilization of the work of power structures by revolutionary parties. The author gives statistics on the deterioration of the crime situation in 1905. The important role of youth in social and political processes in the south of Ukraine during the First Russian Revolution is emphasized. Also, attention is focused on the forms of negative attitude of students towards the imperial family. The author defends the view that the authorities were not able to counter mass riots of the population, this was expressed in the absence of coordinating actions in the manage of the troops.
