THE STATE AND TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EVENT MANAGEMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
This article reveals such concepts as «event tourism» and «event management» and interrelation between them; there is a classification of modern events and a process of preparation for their realization; there is examined a typical organizational structure of company event management. Besides, in this article there is analyzed the state of Ukrainian event management and there are shown the main problems of its development. Also, there is investigated the state of event market and event management of Ukraine on the example of Chernivtsi region. There are analyzed the stages of preparation for the folklore-ethnographic festival «Malanka-fest», which is annually held in the city of Chernivtsi. There are described the prospects and ways of further development of event management in Ukraine.
