THE STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF HUMAN NERVOUS TISSUE

Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 3

Abstract

The human nervous system is a highly specialized and intricate network that coordinates sensory input, motor output, and cognitive functions. This paper investigates the histological structure and functional roles of nervous tissue components, primarily neurons and glial cells, and highlights the importance of myelination in neural communication. Comprehensive statistical data and visual diagrams are included to enhance understanding. Additionally, the study explores the pathological conditions affecting nervous tissue and their impact on neural signaling. This research provides insights into the significance of nervous tissue in health and disease, offering potential implications for therapeutic advancements.
