THE STUDY OF SOME PARAMETERS OF ROSA CANINA L. GENOTYPES FROM DIFFERENT NATIVE POPULATIONS AND FROM THE SAME POPULATION

Abstract
Our paper contributes to the assessment of the some morpho-physiological parameters in Rosa canina L. genotypes belonging to some different local populations or to the same population, in view of isolationg some valuable forms of dog rose to be used in the amelioration of this species. There were analyzed several genotypes from 11 populations of different counties of Romania and 18 genotypes within the same population (Pietricica Mountain population, Neamt county). The most valuable dog rose genotypes were P10 and P11 in the same population, and Gheorghieni (Harghita county) from the natural populations analysed.
