The System of Indicators for Evaluating the Effectiveness of Intellectual Property Management at Enterprises

Abstract
Formation of intellectual property is an important strategic direction in the enterprise development, increasing its competitiveness and performance. Intellectual property management is an important component of the enterprise management system and requires qualitatively new approaches, methods and tools. The determination of the efficiency of the control over these processes is gaining the strategic importance. The need to develop a balanced evaluation of the effectiveness of the system of intellectual property management substantiated the relevance of this study. The aim of the article is to develop a system of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of intellectual property management at enterprises in accordance with the basic efficiency criteria. The set goal stipulated the need to solve the following tasks: to determine the main objectives of the system of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of intellectual property management; to justify the main indicators of performance of the system for evaluating intellectual property management in accordance with certain performance criteria; to determine the stages of evaluating the effectiveness of intellectual property management at enterprises. The article is devoted to the formation of a system for evaluating the effectiveness of intellectual property management at enterprises. In the article the basic problems of forming a system of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of intellectual property management, and especially the peculiarities of building such system of indicators, have been studied. The basic criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of intellectual property management have been allocated and indicators of evaluation in accordance with these criteria reasoned. The main stages of evaluating the management efficiency have been determined and the technique for calculating the integrated coefficient of effectiveness of intellectual property management at enterprises suggested.
