The the shadow economy viability in the conditions of the institutional transformation of the economic mechanism

Abstract
Annotation. The purpose of the article is to reveal the scientific principles of the shadow economy viability in the conditions of the modern institutional transformation of the economic mechanism. Methodology of research. The objectives of the article implemented by using the following general and specific research methods: analysis and synthesis, systematization and generalization. Findings. The economy of Ukraine and a number of post-socialist countries achieved a significant increase in the shadow economy due to uncertain and dull reforms. Even with considerable criticism and threats from the spread of economic activities of this "sector" of the economy, it continues to strengthen and spread in all industries and services. In scientific studies the shadow economy gained new areas of research, such as the "second" shadow economy, the "gray" and "black" shadow economy with isolating the "white" sector of this economy. This article reveals the scientific principles of sustainability for the shadow economy in the current institutional transformation of the economic mechanism. Practical value. The authors were established that the issue of legalizing the shadow economy should be solved with a view to eliminating the roots of its development, taking into account the types of economic activity that have a devastating effect on the economy of the country.
