THE THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE PHENOMENON OF JEALOUSY IN TERMS OF MODERN PSYCHOLOGY

Abstract

It should be noted that there is a diverse understanding of the phenomenon of jealousy and they correspond to different definitions. For example, C. P. Korolenko and N. V.Dmitrieva, define it like this: «Jealousy is an emotion experienced in the case of a threat and the loss of an important relationship with the other person in connection with the replacement of these relations to relations with a rival or otherwise more significant object. « His understanding of jealousy offering A. Adler: «jealousy & is a character trait that can persist for life, it arises out of a sense of rejection, as well as a sense of constant humiliation.» As part of our work, jealousy is understood as a negative feeling, and as a personality trait that is evident at all levels of social interaction. For the diagnosis of jealousy, we chose the following methods: a questionnaire for jealousy L. Chursanovoy, multidimensional jealousy scale Pfeiffer & Wong, for the diagnosis of a wide range of properties of the individual questionnaire was chosen by. Cattell and FPI. The study involved 50 peoples. Empirical research revealed signif icant relationship jealousy performance with a wide range of personal properties. There is a significant positive correlation at 1% and 5% level among all indicators of jealousy and suspicion, tyranny and excessive self&conceit. The results of the correlation analysis also demonstrated significant associations between measures of jealousy to the presence of guilt, concern. The closest relationship was revealed with internal tensions, an excess of meaning, not finding discharge.
