The theoretical basis for ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises

Abstract
The current situation prevailing in most domestic industrial enterprises requires focusing the maximum attention on solving the problem of ensuring security. The proper level of economic security allows both the preservation of business and the formation of the basis for the sustainable development of a particular enterprise. Ensuring economic security requires the definition of a theoretical basis, which provides for the formation of a modern interpretation of the basic concepts of «security», «danger», «risk», «threat» and «challenge». The generalization allowed to substantiate their own understanding and to form the theoretical basis for improving the management of economic security of industrial enterprises.
