The Topp-Leone Burr-XII Distribution: Properties and Applications
Journal Title: Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science - Year 2017, Vol 21, Issue 5
Abstract
In this paper we introduce a new generalization of the Burr-XII distribution using the genesis of the Topp-Leone distribution and is named as Topp-Leone Burr-XII (TLBXII) distribution. The statistical properties of this distribution including the mean, variance, coefficient of variation, quantile function, median, ordinary and incomplete moments, skewness, kurtosis, moment and probability generating functions, reliability analysis, Lorenz, Bonferroni and Zenga curves, Rényi of entropy and order statistics are studied. We consider the method of maximum likelihood for estimating the model parameters and the observed information matrix is derived. Three real data sets are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new model.

In this paper, we investigate the extension of Fuglede and Fuglede-Putnam’s Theorems to two bounded linear operators.
A Financial Prey-predator Model with Infection in the Predator
A modified predator-prey model is proposed with logistic growth in both prey and predator populations and an infection in the predator population. This model uses ideas from the original biological Lotka-Volterra model i...

Triple-Protocol – A New Direction of Elliptic-Curve Cryptography
The original triple-protocol is proposed, which is a modification of the well-known Massey - Omura protocol, but greatly improves it from the standpoint of efficiency and enables data to be validated for integrity and au...
A New Structure and Contribution in D-metric Spaces
In this paper, we define a new topological structure of D-closed, D-continuous and D-fixed point property and discussed of its properties, some result for this subject are also established.
