THE TRANSFORMER TYPE REACTOR WITH CHANGING MUTUAL INDUCTION COEFFICIENT BETWEEN WINDINGS

Abstract

The transformer type reactor in which the primary winding current regulation is carried out by reducing the mutual induction coefficient between the individual parts of the secondary winding is considered. The analysis of the reactor electrical equivalent scheme showed the regulating possibility of the primary winding current with a multiplicity of five. The reactor design with an axial symmetrical three-limb core with the secondary windings parts electrically connected in series, short-circuited and separated from each other by a magnetic shunt controlled by transverse bias is proposed. The equivalent scheme of the proposed construction reactor magnetic circuit is considered. It is shown that the primary winding magnetizing force is proportional to the shunt magnetic resistance.
