The universal principle of conflict as a didactic principle for forming environmental thinking

Abstract
The article reflects the actual problems of the educational process, in particular, the problem of the formation of rational (dialectical) thinking. Dialectical thinking is based on the universal principle of contradiction. Ecology is a convenient and obvious material for the formation of correct (dialectical, systemic, critical) thinking. The educational process, based on the modeling of systems through the prism of identifying and resolving contradictions, contributes to a conscious, in-depth understanding of the material by students, as practice has shown.
