THE USAGE OF THE CRITICAL THINKING TECHNOLOGIES DURING THE PROFESSIONAL-COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE FORMATION OF FUTURE OFFICERS BY MEANS OF HUMANITARIAN DISCIPLINES IN HIGHER MILITARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

This article presents the technologies of critical thinking during professional-communicative competence formation of future officers by means of humanitarian disciplines in higher military educational institutions. The author examines the issues of critical thinking technologies during the study of the humanitarian disciplines. The essence of the seven technologies of critical thinking used by the author, namely “What’s Your Rating?”, “Priority Ladder”, “Human Bias Graph”, “Milestones”, “Brainstorming”, “Association” and “Short essay”. The professional-communicative competence of future officers is an important factor in improving the efficiency of their job performance. The usage of these technologies created favorable opportunities for the formation of cadets’ critical thinking skills that are related to the ability to extract process and use information from various sources, and to present the results of its analysis in a concise form both during the online course and during the classroom lessons
