The Use of Dietary Fibers in the Combination Therapy for Diabetes Mellitus Type 2

Abstract

The article presents the results of the evaluation of Guarem clinical efficacy in combination therapy of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with obesity and overweight. It is shown that Guarem reduces intestinal glucose absorption, contributes to maintaining the blood glucose concentration at the stable level. The authors concluded that the herbal preparation Guarem is well tolerated by patients and can be used by patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus of different age groups.
