The Use of First Order Polynomial with Double Scalar Quantization for Image Compression
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering Research and Advanced Technology - Year 2017, Vol 3, Issue 6
Abstract
In this paper, the proposed technique attempts to exploit the first order polynomial model effectively along with utilizing the two stages of the scalar quantizer to enhance the system efficiency. The test results of the suggested method are promising especially with the identical base model compared with the traditional and separate base models.
Optimization of Advanced Space Propulsion Technique: Solar Sail
Numerous space missions have been launched since the last lunar mission, including several deep space probes that have been sent to the edges of our solar system. However their journeys have been limited by the power of...
Experimental Study on Flexural Behavior of Reinforced Solid and Hollow Concrete Beams
The incessant uptick in the prices of steel reinforcement and cement steer to the dredging up ways to minimize the weight of concrete. This directly reflects on the total outlay for the construction project. In addition...
Effect of Quenching and Ageing Duration on Mechanical Property of Metal Matrix Composite: A Taguchi Technique
The present study was conducted to understand the influence of quenching media and ageing duration on hardness of aluminum metal matrix composite. The composites are subjected to three types of cooling after solutionizin...
Quality Aspects of Dref-III Spun Yarns by Optimisation of Parameters with Box and Behnken’s 3x3 Model
Studies have shown the effect of two different fibre parameters (fibre length and fibre fineness) as well as core-sheath ratio of yarn on the physical properties and structure of Dref-III yarns. Different response surfac...
An Experimental Investigation on NOx Emission Reduction and Performance Evaluation of CI Engine using EGR System
Internal combustion engines are established as the main power source for the automobile vehicles. At present emission norms became strict for any IC engine. The main pollutants are HC, CO, NOx, Particulate Matter, Soot...
