THE USE OF INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN TRAINING FUTURE PEDIATRICIANS

Abstract
Abstract. The paper reviews academic viewpoints on defining the core of interactive technologies. The analysis of their impact on training future pediatricians has been conducted. The effectiveness of interactive technologies for the training of highly skilled and competitive medical staff has proven itself to be a remarkably good in conjunction with the norms of their application that have been established. The analysis of previous studies shows that theoretical and practical developments in using interactive technologies for educational purposes were introduced by N. Volkova, V. Guzeev, A. Gina, V. Dyachenko, A. Pometun, L. Pirozhenko, V. Slastionin and others. The central issue in this matter is to discover the features which are offered by interactive technologies and to define the expediency of such use in higher education (A. Alexyuk, V. Bespalko, M. Klarin, A. Pekhota, V. Serikov, S. Sisoeva, et al.). At this point, we should say that this requires further research. Interactive learning is the learning immersed in communication, information exchange upon mutual understanding and interaction. It solves a wide range of problems: development of communication skills and establishing emotional contacts; development of learning and academic skills (analysis, synthesis, setting goals); formation and development of teamwork skills through the analysis of circumstances. In the training of future pediatricians, we have offered such interactive technologies as business games, educational discussions, case method, project method. In our opinion, the advantage of business games being the method of interactive learning should be considered to be the communication of participants held in the conditions which are close to real life, as well as further improvement of professional skills, identification of general skill level, communication skills, and personal qualities of the participants. Case method was suggested by us for further improvement of practical skills in future pediatricians when providing emergency care to a child. For the training of future pediatricians, we have developed interactive gaming exercises with the help of the Internet service of multimedia didactic exercises LearningApps.org. It is Web 2.0 based and is used to support educational processes in academic institutions. With the help of the LearningApps designer for training teamwork skills, we developed the interactive task "Team Role Structure" using "FIND THE PAIR" template. The "PUZZLE" template was used to create the "Team" and "Team’s expert assessment" tasks. Based on the academic approaches to the definition of the essence "interactive technologies", the expediency of their introduction into the training of future pediatricians with the teamwork focus has been substantiated. Our further developments are related to the grounding and experimental verification of the technology of training future pediatricians for the teamwork.
